Privacy statement

This statement concerns the website adamcapital.nl. If you are a participant or prospective participant in the fund and use the participant portal at mijnadam.nl, a separate privacy statement applies, which you will find in the portal.

We have not appointed a data protection officer; that is not mandatory for an organisation of this size. Questions about your data can be sent to the email address above.

What data we process on this website, and why

If you use the contact form. Your name, email address, the message you write and, if you fill them in, your phone number and the subject. We use this data solely to answer your question and, where appropriate, to arrange a follow-up conversation with you.

If you subscribe to the newsletter. Your email address. We then send you a periodic newsletter about the fund and about developments in the digital asset market. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every newsletter or by emailing us.

If you visit the website. Our hosting provider records technical data needed to deliver and secure the website: your IP address, the time, the page requested and the technical characteristics of your browser. We use these logs only for security and troubleshooting.

Visitor statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many visitors the website attracts, which pages are viewed and from which country and device type. This service sets no cookies and stores no IP address or other data by which you can be identified; visitors are not tracked across websites. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the website.

What we do not do. This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. The price data on the website is retrieved from our own price service; no data about you is sent in the process.

Legal basis

  • Answering your contact request: our legitimate interest in responding to those who contact us and, if you wish to participate, the preparation of a contract with you.
  • Newsletter: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time, without consequences.
  • Technical logs: our legitimate interest in a secure and working website.
  • Visitor statistics: our legitimate interest in a well-functioning and relevant website, without you being identifiable.

With whom we share your data

We do not sell your data and do not use it for third-party advertising. We engage the following parties, which act solely on our instructions:

  • Vercel runs the website. The server logic runs in Frankfurt, Germany.
  • Resend sends the email from the contact form.
  • Brevo (Paris) manages the newsletter list and sends the newsletter.
  • Vercel Web Analytics provides the anonymised visitor statistics.

Resend is a US company. To the extent your data thereby leaves the European Economic Area, the transfer is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. Brevo is a European company and processes your data within the EU.

We may be obliged to provide data to a supervisory authority or investigative body if the law requires it.

How long we keep your data

  • Messages via the contact form: at most two years after our last contact, unless the message leads to participation in the fund. In that case your message becomes part of your participant file and the retention period from the portal's privacy statement applies.
  • Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe.
  • Technical logs: at most a few weeks.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to erasure, to restriction of processing, to data portability and to object. You can withdraw your consent for the newsletter at any time.

Send a request to info@adamcapital.nl. We respond within one month. To make sure we do not give your data to anyone else, we may ask you to identify yourself.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

How we secure your data

Connections to this website are encrypted. Messages from the contact form reach only the staff who need to answer them. We do not store any data about you in a database of our own on this website; what you send us, we receive by email.

Changes

We update this statement when the processing changes. The current version is always on this page, with the version number and date at the top.
